Andrew Henderson was born in 1947 and has had the privilege of living in several countries before settling in Southern England.
He became a Christian in 1979 and was a church leader until 2013 since when he has devoted much of his time to two charities working in Romania.
Andrew has been visiting Romania for fifteen years and has been a Trustee of The Cleaford Christian Trust for some fourteen years. In 2006 Andrew started working with FAST Charity Romania. Over the past few years he has witnessed amazing changes within the communities of Zizin, Tarlungeni and Garcin, all of which are near the city of Brasov.
When, in late 2010, it was decided to set up a UK charity to help with the work of FAST Charity Romania and the Community Aid Network Andrew was delighted to be involved and has been Chairman since April 2011 when FAST UK was officially set up.
Andrew preaches regularly at Weybourne Community Church and
other churches locally.
